Photographing the best of the West’s events

During the summer season and into autumn I enjoy capturing many regional events - in particular festivals and similar gatherings which showcase the very best in music, arts and local cultural attractions. The south west is the best place in the UK for such jollities - music festivals such as Glastonbury Festival and WOMAD, regional agricultural shows, food markets and garden events - they are are incredibly well organised by a dedicated team of passionate folk and it’s always a great honour to be asked to photograph at each occasion.

A selection of such events are often featured in the pages of Bath Life Magazine who compile a lovely choice of my photos for publication. Here’s a selection of tear sheets from recent issues for you to enjoy. I’ll add some more over the next few weeks as they go to press.
